Disable refresh button on browser.

Question

Does any one known about the how to disable refresh button on browser.

I want to disable disable refresh button on browser because onmouse click user can be refresh the page. I have stop the refresh button on F5 button press but also I need on mouse click.

You actually can disable the button.But there are several limitations.The easiest way to do it is if you opened the window (say with a window.open) and not the client. If the client opened that windowyou can made an ActiveX to disable it but of coursethis add a bit more complication and if the user just didn't want to give permissions to your ActiveX then it will not work.As I said before the easiest way to do it is opening you that window.

I am not using or add a button on web page. On browser by default there is a Reload or Refresh button or logo is present I told about that one. I need a browser refresh button to disable. Thanks about your answer. It will help me for using newly added button. Thanks & regards Priya.

You can use javascript code to make your refresh button disable. function disablebutton() { document.getElementById(btnrefresh).disabled= true; } Note: say btnrefresh is the id of your refresh button.
