DisAdvantages of CellValueChanged Event of DataGridView

Sir I please help me in the following topic. What are the DisAdvantages of CellValueChanged Event of DataGridView? is there any other gridview event to replace this event in WinForm? Please tell

Hi Bineesh It completely depends on how you take it. Please mind every single functionality has been evolved to make your programming work easier in any language or framework. So In my humble opinion nobody can comment on the disadvantages of any event. It's been created for all good like ethically we have weapons for security but we also use it for terror. Hope you understand my point now. To answer your second question What kind of replacement you expect to achieve. I mean what purpose you're going to solve?

See it is never advisable to display a render a lot of records on-screen as it may slow down the user-experience. Instead you can implement pagination if you've a lot more data to show. Now to answer your question: Why it will check all the seven Cells? It all depends on you what are you doing on CellValueChanged event. It's all up to you if you check seven cells OR the Whole Grid Cells. Depending on how much action is being performed inside CellValueChanged event it will consume the respective amount of time.

By Disadvantage I meant that will it make DataGridView running with load? if I change a value of a cell ( if grid has seven column) will it check all the seven cell? will this checking make it running with load? will reducing code in the CellValueChange event make program faster? By Replace I meant that Can I change the code from CellValueChange Event to any other event like CelEnter?
