display current datetime in textbox focus

Question

Hi I displayed current datetime on textbox focus event and i enter some data uner the datetime in textbox when i go out side of the text box and came backthe data whatever i enter in textbox is removed only datetime is displaying. but i need datetime and data when i focus second time on text box. Please help in this. Thanks in advance sona

If you want the date and time to change dynamically - so it will display the current date/time each time the focus enters the textbox - then you need to overlay the previous date/time (if there is one) with the new one. Hi Sona. in your textbox focus event you can check if the textbox already has some data then you dont need to display the textbox with current datetime and you can skip the process this way the value in your textbox is not overwritten.
