div scroll position to bottom by default

Question

i am applying a scroll bar to a div what i want is that scroll bar should be always to the bottom i.e. its position should be bottom. how can i do this?

Hi You need to find the height of the scroll div tag and set the scroll position. var t = document.getElementById('divMessages'); t.scrollTop = t.scrollHeight;
