'div' tag in CSS

Question

I have created a CSS Class for tag to display image in my application but it doesn't display image.Instead it display image when i have created Id for tag in my Stylesheet.Can anyone tell me why does it happen?

very simple i hope your css file is outside the asp page if so then you need to pay special attension to locate the file. Find the working solution for me. In CSS File:- .line .l { left: 0; background-image: url(/gifs/l-ffffff.gif); } In ASP.NET File:- Look no tables!
