Javascript is a scripting language.It is used along with HTML webpages to add some interactivity. JQuery is a library of many functions that you can use in JS (It is not a language) .It makes your work more easier of adding graphical simulations. Notice the Learn page. Javacsript is mentioned first before JQuery. And if you go for JQuery before JS you may have trouble afterwards. My suggestion : Finish Web Fundamentals firstthen go for Javscript (finish till Control Flow it would be enough)and then finally JQuery.
