Do I need to learn new technology like Hadoop

I am dot net and Sql developer Working since 5 years in same company.Now i am looking for job in Sql server database but getting very less job and response Do i Need to learn new technology like hadoop or any thing else.lease suggest me.Thanks

I would say it totally depends on the job market but if you are good in something make your self the best in that so that you could end up being an architect. But its always good to learn new technologies and be a full stack.
