yes @echo off doesn't echo the echo command.

Echo off prevents further commands from being 'echoed' to the screen. However the first line echo off displayed whereas when we use @echo off then it stop displaying echo off message as well as prevents further commands from being 'echoed' to the screen . Let's Understand with a basic example. I have created two batch file one with @echo off and one with echo off. Example 1: @echo off cd c:\windows echo You are now in the windows folder in C Drive Pause Preview: Example:2 echo off cd c:\windows echo You are now in the windows folder in C Drive Pause Preview: Hope this Example will Help you.
