How to connect oracle database from Dotnet Core application?

Oracle plans to certify ODP.NET, Managed Driver on Microsoft .NET Core around the end of calendar year 2017. Is there any alternative way then ODP.NET?

For .Net Core 1.0 1.1 and for 2.0 too (until driver from Oracle is not released ) you can use unofficial Oracle client for .NET Core based on Mono's Oracle client Github: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Mono.Data.OracleClientCore Nuget: Mono.Data.OracleClientCore .
