Hi You can build a site even without using Jquery. Jquery has some functions makes you to ease your DOM jobs. for example to add a span to div you have to write in javscript var dateSpan = document.createElement('span') var div = document.createElement('div'); div.appendChild(dateSpan); But in jQuery you can do simething like in a single line $(' ').append(' '). And Responsiveness in HTML5 is that the sites should fit various devices. Responsive web design gives web creators to make layouts that respond/adjust to any screen size[desktop mobile tablet]
