Doubt about MVP award on C-sharpcorner.com

Sir  I m not blogging currently and Written 2-3 articles but mostly active in forums . so can I eligible fro MVP ??? or its compulsory to write articles ???

To get an MVP Award you don't have to contribute on Microsoft sites. It can be any community. YES we have over 20 authors on C# Corner who have received Microsoft MVP Award. A few of them are Mahesh Mike Gold Mathew Chochran Raj Kumar Praveen Kumar and so on. I do not remember everybody but every year I nominate about 8 authors in USA and 8 from INDIA and few from other countries. Roughly you have to be contributing for a while. You whole year and write about 40 articles plus some blogs forums replies and so on.

Kirtan Mindcracker MVP Award (that is different than Microsoft MVP award) is based on the total contributions and mostly based on articles blogs and feedback/ideas/suggestions on the site. Since forums are being cashed in ($$$) so forums do not count much. However we are going to nominate Forums users to Microsoft but Microsoft also looks for articles blogs etc as well. How to get an MVP Award? by Mahesh Chand On Jul 30 2007 Criteria for Microsoft INDIA MVP seems harder and they need a lot of articles blogs and lot of contributions. What level are you at for the MSDN forums? I am at level 5 (all 5 stars) in the MSDN forums but I think the forums are not enough for Microsoft MVP. There are other people that help out more than I have in the forums that are not MVPs.
