i am not getting the answer please help me.

cost 1000     here check box

tax when i click the check box i want to calulate 5% of cost(1000*5/100)

tax i want the answer 50

please help tomorrow oi have interview please send it as quickly as possible.

5% is a twentieth rather than a fifth so this line: decimal tax = cost / 5; should be: decimal tax = cost / 20; You might also find it easier to do it like this: decimal tax = cost * 5 / 100;
