Drag and Drop functionality for gridview

Question

hi folks,
   
        i have a gridview with images in it but when i drag n drop on img am unable to do so..
where as i can select any other place in that row i can do so..
am using jquery for this.
this  functionality for reordering the grid..
and  to save that order . 


i also tried with html table its saving the order but when i click on image am unable to reorder




plz suggest me the best way
