Any one Knows how to drag drop an object in User Control

My solution was not very eligant but it was the way I got it to work. I could not get the Drag/Drop events on the control to fire so I did a kluge in the form events 1. In the form you must set AllowDrop=true 2. In the form I responded to the events DragEnter DragOver and DragDrop. 3. I used a common function for both the DragEnter and DragOver events. In it I did the following (here e is the DragEventArgs ) Point p = YourControl.PointToClient( new Point( e.X e.Y ) ); if (( p.X YourControl.Size.Width ) || ( p.Y > YourControl.Size.Height )) { e.Effect = DragDropEffects.None; } else { e.Effect = DragDorpEffects.Copy; } With this the cursor only changed when the mouse was over the control. 4. Finally I did my responds to the DragDrop event in a final function.
