Draw coordinate lines on image and manipulation

Question

I need a requirement like My web page has an image having fixed size. Then I have to show graph lines depends on input like (11) means i have to how all image as one box.if input like (22) i have to show 2 by 2 matrix lines like 4 regions on image similar (nm) and need control over the regions like to color specific region. I am searching for direction to start using java script plugins. If i can get any suggestions from you flocks that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply Requirement is quite simple that I have an image of size 100px height and 100 px width so your inputs 11 means whole image is one unit similarly 22 means I have to draw line horizontally in middle at 50 px and one vertical line at 50 px so these two lines can divide 4 square parts(like horizontal and vertical cut of square). similarly there may be nm depends on nm values I have to draw the lines. exactly looks like graph paper.
