In a Databound Dropdown list how to add a text value to the Dropdown list during runtime after the control is bound the data.

Here is the situation: ============================================= The details of a particular record say an Employee is displayed on the ASP.NET page. Employee type is a dropdown list (for Eg Employee Type Table has : Manager Supervisor Agent Associate. The Employee type dropdown list is bound to the data from Employee Type table.) Now if Agent is deleted from the database but the Employee details record still has Agent as Employee type I want to display Agent while displaying this Employees details even though it may not be in the bound data for the dropdownlist. ==============================================
