hi i am using 3 dropdownlist 1st one for date 2nd for month  3 for year how i can combine these values and insert into database what is the coding for it?

string Data = Convert.ToString(ddldate.SelectedItem.Value) + Convert.ToString(ddlMonth.SelectedItem.Value) + Convert.ToString(ddlYear.SelectedItem.Value); Instead of using these three dropdownlist can't use the calendar control. Thanks Murali.
