dynamically access table name in select query

hello sir I am Developing desktop application in which i want to select table name dynamically in select query as per combobox selection in C# desktop Application please give me a proper suggestion

You are not setting the value of @TableName variable. In your case it should be parameter and then pass in dynamic sql.

Rinku you can get table name from combo box in variable and then use below sql to fetch the data. declare @TableName varchar (100) declare @SQLQuery nvarchar(2000) set @TableName = 'YOUR TABLE NAME' set @SQLQuery = 'SELECT * FROM ' + @TableName EXECUTE sp_executesql @SQLQuery

Create stored procedure like this CREATE PROCEDURE Proc1 @TableName varchar (100) AS declare @SQLQuery nvarchar(2000) BEGIN SET @SQLQuery = 'SELECT * FROM ' + @TableName EXECUTE sp_executesql @SQLQuery END Test stored procedure EXEC Proc1 'Table Name' And then pass tablename variable in c# code.
