Helllo Everyone I am facing an issue with EDMX. I am creating an edmx file. When I am adding any new table using edmx design.then it is not reflecting on edmx context file.I could not get that table using objcontext object. Please help

Ok thanku so much. Meanwhile I was googling I found that If this is the bug with vs 2012  the edmx file located in a folder it is now fixed - download and install VS 2012 Update 1. You can get it from: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/downloads#d-visual-studio-2012-update. I clicked on that I found update 5 for vs 2012.I installed it then restart my system. Open my project and adding new table in edmx. Now Model.tt and model.context.tt both are updating welll dont need to Run custom tool Now.

Delete existing model and then update: Open the EDMX designer. Ctrl-A to select all. Delete key to delete all models in the designer. IMPORTANT: Do not save the EDMX at this point if you are under source control!* Now right-click and select Update Model from Database to recreate the entire model again.

Thanks for your quick reply. My issue is that VS does not seem to see the changes. I have tried adding a new table which shows up fine in the model but then if I try to use it somewhere the table does not show up in intellisense and I can't use it. First Build Project and if it was successful point the model.tt in the context. then run custom tool . It will fix it. Again Build project and point to model.context.tt run custom tool. it will update DbSet lists. I dont want to run custom Tool I want that it should be done automatically as mostly edmx does.
