Email Trigger when project detail has updated in project server 2010

Question

Hi All I have to implement an email trigger  this trigger will fire when project detail's column project status is update. This trigger have to implement in MSPS(Microsoft Project Server 2010). I gone through google and i found that i have to implement event handler for this. But still i am confuse. Please help me out.. Thanks in advance

Hi Thanks for the help. Emails are triggering on time but now i stuck on another problem. I want old and new value of the project Status but not getting it. I get all the following values :-      But not getting TextValue. Please help me to get old and new value. In project status Lookup table i have 3 level like active on hold and close. Do you have admin privileges? Try opening Run as administrator and open C:\Windows\Assembly and then do a drag drop. The DLL must be present in the assembly.

Try de registering the DLL and register again by copying the dll and pasting to C:\windows\assembly.

Yes i put that properly. When i checked physically into C:\windows\assembly\ my dll file can't find there. But when i checked it with cmd : C:\Windows\assembly>gacutil.exe /l TestEventHandler it shows found.

Did you attach the event handler properly in PWA. Double check the Version Name & PublicKeyToken. Second thing is to put the namespace.class name in appropriate way.

The system cannot find the file specified. I checked this dll into gac through cmd command  this file exits. What to do now ?

You will need to write an event handler that will run on PWA and get fired every time a project is getting updated (Updating event). You will need to check if the updated data is the Project Status column fire an email and exit from the handler.
