Embedded software development in Visual Studio...

Question

Hi New to dot net I have heard that embedded software development is now supported in visual studio.. Is it so? I am sorry i dont know much so asking generally..

What do you mean by embedded? Looking at Mobile and Embedded Development I say it is ambiguous. Have you looked at anything such as this ?

For embedded development I'd check out the .NET Micro Framework site ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/netmf/default.aspx ). It's not something I know much about but I do know that you can use Visual Studio and C# to develop embedded applications. I don't think though that VB.Net is supported.
