Entity framework ADO.NET

Question

Hi all Can anybody tell me the difference between ado.net and entity frame work model.In which scenario I should select Entity frame work. Thanks M.Maheswar

The Entity Framework uses ADO .Net. The Entity Framework is a higher-level way to use a database; inother words if you use ADO .Net directly then it will require more time spent programming than if you use the Entity Framework.
