Entity framework mvc .net

Question

Please anyone help me.i have problem with entity database connection. i have mvc project this is run online successully . but i am trying to connect with local database but this exeption is caught. i also change connection in web config for local database after that i fetch that problem EntityExeption was caught- The underlying provider failed on Open.

If you local database and online database both are same. Then try to update your model. Right click-> update model.

this error come because connection string not match. put your valid connection string like ModEntity connectionString= metadata=res://*/ModEntity.csdl|res://*/ModEntity.ssdl|res://*/ModEntity.msl;provider=System.Data.SqlClient;provider connection string= Data Source=SomeServer;Initial Catalog=SomeCatalog;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=Entity;Password=SomePassword;MultipleActiveResultSets=True  providerName= System.Data.EntityClient /> Entity connectionString= metadata=res://*/Entity.csdl|res://*/Entity.ssdl|res://*/Entity.msl;provider=System.Data.SqlClient;provider connection string= Data Source=SOMESERVER;Initial Catalog=SOMECATALOG;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=Entity;Password=Entity;MultipleActiveResultSets=True  providerName= System.Data.EntityClient />
