Hi What is difference between in ADO.Net & Entity Framework and Which one is faster and why?

Entity f/w is build on top of ADO.net. Entity f/w still uses ado.net native class through model and in optimized way. ADO.net is faster.

hi ADO.net is a set of Libraries that provides data access as part of .NET framework. where as Entity framework is ORM which is provide layer over the ADO.net and map database field and table to object. yes ADO.net performance is good but is also depend on how query written and which container used at code level i.e. dataset or data reader.
