Error in F# Program

Question

While Writing Any Of the F# code in F# editor like below.

> let tuple = (06, "Tuple Data Type");;
val tuple : int * string
> let (num, str) = tuple;;
val num : int
val str : string

I am getting error unexpected symbol (>) In Implementation file.

can anyone tell me why i am getting this error.

'>' is the prompt character used in an F# Interactive session. If you're writing an F# file using an editor then you shouldn't begin lines with this character. Nor should you use a double semi-colon at the end of the line. The following code should build and run OK from the command line: let tuple = (06 Tuple Data Type) let (num str) = tuple printfn %d %s num str
