Error in web.config fig

Hi I am getting the following error when i browse through the iis HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

Hi This error happens when the section [ ] has been locked globally in IIS configuration. The following command will unlock this section globally. %windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe unlock config -section:system.webServer/security/requestFiltering If you only want unlock it for a particular site/app you can do %windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe unlock config SiteName/app/url -section:system.webServer/security/requestFiltering
