Error while consuming WCF Service

Hello All Why I am getting two different URL here: I am able to browse the service but not able to consume service because the URL comming here is http://epweb:96/Customer.svc?wsdl Two different URL while browsing URL Please tell the possible solution urgently.

Hello The name epweb is actually the computer name. But how it is coming and IP address is already configured in IIS. :(

I think it shows up your virtual directory name instead of your IP address. To show your ip adress Go to your IIS --> right click on your website --> edit bindings--> Select ipaddress --> edit --> then choose your IP adress and restrat IIS hope it solves your problem

The way you have implemented is correct. ?wsdl basically exposes web service defination language which is in xml format to communicate data. if you click on that url you can see all your methods in xml format. WCF services basically communicates with client in wsdl format. Now to test your wcf. you have to call it in your client. ex: create a website and right click on the solution and add service reference--> give the url http://epweb:96/Customer.svc --> now go to the event where you want to call the service refer this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms734691(v=vs.110).aspx
