Hi I have created a form for the student details in Mvcbut am getting an error The model item passed into the dictionary is of type 'System.Collections.Generic.List`1[StudentDetails.Models.StudentDetail]' but this dictionary requires a model item of type 'StudentDetails.Models.StudentEntities'. could anybody helpme out Thanks rizwan

Application normally throw such errors when you view is accepting some type but you are passing some other type from your controller. Like in your case your view is expecting student Entity but you are passing Student list from the controller. So either pass Student Entity from controller or change @model directive to accept student list. Please share your controller and view code for more help To help others please mark this solution as Accepted if it solves the purpose
