event recurrence on changing variable

Question

hello I wish to know if an event can be raised if a variables value is changed ? what i wish to do is if a variable changes its value then something should happen(like events happen) thank you

A class can implement the INotifyPropertyChanged interface to notify its clients that a property value has changed. Notification is made via the PropertyChanged event.
