what is the difference between event ,and eventhandlers and delegates;

A delegate represents one or more methods which have a certain signature (both parameters and return type). Invoking the delegate invokes all the methods in its invocation list. An event is a special kind of delegate which (outside the class in which it's defined) only supports two operations : += and -= which respectively add or remove a method from its invocation list. An eventhandler is a method which is compatible with and has been added to the invocation list of an event. It is invoked when the event is invoked (or 'fired').
