Examples of real time scenario of using threading....

Hi People who have worked on threading.. Can you`ll plzz give real time scenario of using threading... I have not used threading so far so interested in knowing where it is and can be used... Thanks in advance...

@Mahesh Chand Thanks.. Now we are using this forum and posting topics.. Does this also use threading concept.. I think threading is a vast topic and has to be handled very carefully.. I would like to know more examples and simple ones as i am still learning it... Thanks

I have used threading in many applications. Here are some examples from my projects. One product had to parse multiple excel sheets simultaneously and put data into database. I ran about 20 worker threads each parsing one Excel document In one of my Windows application we had to do lot time consuming printing while users were still working on other parts of the application. I put the whole printing process in a worker thread. Cheers!
