Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004C011

Question

Hi when am trying to debug in my solution with com components... am observing the following exception Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004C011 and am unable to find out tha one. could you please anyone help me out Thanks Ranjith

It helps to get all the relevant data that you can about errors. For example the error message for 0x8004C011 probably says that the server is not available so that is probably either a temporary problem or a configuration problem. So then you at least have a clue for where to look. If you get an error in a try/catch then you should look at all the members of the exception. You can use the ToString() method of the exception to see the entire exception except that if the InnerException is not null then you need to do something more to see that too.
