Export DataTable to Execl spreadsheet giving problem in .xlsx file

Question

Hi All I would like to Export the Data from the dataTable in asp.net application I am able to export the data to Excel .xls format but i am not able to open the excel spreadsheet format(.xlsx). when i open its opening only ms Office Execl window but datais not displaying. please hell its very urgent Thanks Bharathi

Both ways it should work.. Post more information about how you exporting the file.

If the export is to be done in the server then I think Microsoft says not to do that. You should look at the articles in this web site. It is very likely that there is at least one article that will help you.

Hi Bharathi Since an .xlsx file is opened as a package used by 2007 office applications and .xls file is opened by 2007 using the same content but by some tricks.
