Facebook batch requests with MVC 4

Question

Hi all Im currently building a website that will display status messages of some public pages/accounts. I am using graph api to display status messages on the website. I would like to be able to display these for more than one page/account. e.g. display Nike and Adidas status updates in one call. I hope this makes sense. I am coding in C# using visual studio 2012 this is an MVC4 website. Thanks in advance

I think FacebookClient uses Batch method [ Query is on FacebookWebClient]. Try with Batch method as shown in this link

I get this error: Facebook.FacebookClient' does not contain a definition for 'Query' and no extension method 'Query' accepting a first argument of type 'Facebook.FacebookClient' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Dont you get the Query function in FacebookClient instance?

Update: I have installed the facebook SDK and it comes with FacebookClient so how would you suggest I do it in that case?

Thanks Jaganathan I am not using any SDK just httpwebrequest to pass the graph api url then I return a JSon string. I will look at doing it with the SDK then if it solves my problem

Hi I dont know which FB SDK you are using. If it is FacebookWebClient or FacebookClient FacebookWebClient fb = new FacebookWebClient() var result = fb.Query(query1 query2.....); from result you can loop through & get the result from each page. For query details read FB Developer page
