Filter Datatable by providing Scientific Notation Formatted Value

Hello Guys... I have a datatable having different types of columns. I want to filter values in datatable Suppose I have values in my application displayed in Scientific notation now in datatable i have values in normal Numeric format e.g IntegerFloat currency etc I want to filter datatble by providing value like -1.06E+003 with two decimal places but actully in datatable values are -1056 Can any one Explain me how can i get filtered values providing scientific notation in Filter... Dear I have data sample like following idNameStoreDistance 4DavidHKB1056 6Rockhkb95182.589 7JohnStore1125.193 Suppose this data is stored in SQL with table name store.. Now i bind this data with my grid in my application and user want to view Distance in scientific notation suppose with 2 decimal places. Now when i will convert or when my grid will show this data like distance in scientific notation then suppose value 1056 will be '1.06E+003' Now if i want to filter my values on the basis of my distance suppose user selects '1.06E+003' then this value will not match value in database. One Proplem is that when user selects value for filter i d'nt have actul value when i boud in grid i just have this value in string Now here is the problem what should do to just match the value with database one solution was that i select valuse from database in scientific notation and then copare it but i d'nt know how to select values in scientific notatin with formating like decimal places etc.. Hey Can you Provide Me Information What column You are having in Your Datatable ? and Also Provide Sample data you are having in that Datatable and How you want to search . I can help you if you provide some more info :)
