To be only specific to software development Software development for hardware base products. e.g. bio metrics barcode etc Embed software development. Only software development. I prefer first or second because that will give you more knowledge. So develop project as per above things to be keep in mind. Talking about technologies In today's world mobile technologies are in super demand. You can develop software using JAVA which will be great. or you can use C# to develop programs. These two languages are core of everything.. Use SQL Server to create your database. Try to use crystal report to view reports. All above things not only enhance your project but also enhance your carrier since they will add an advantage in your resume.
