Find Abbreviation In C#?

Hi Friends, How can I found the abbreviation of any word in C#? Suppose I Enter 'Indian Standard Time' then it will return 'IST' How can this possible?

You need to save all your abbreviations to some table with codes in your database. And get it to a list and select code. Or You can hardcode all the abbreviations directly into a list or dictionary and query it with the value

use String spliter to do that.. for example, TextBox1.Text="Indian Standard Time"; string a=TextBox1.Text; string[] b=a.Split(' '); Now You get The 3 words in the above string array.. Then you Use string remove option to Get The starting of this three word... Finally you got IST from the given Words...
