form controls are not displayed

hi...
I just opened one of the form in the designer and all controls are missing.but when i run my project the controls are there and it is working.In the code window also the events for each controls are there.but it is missing in the designer and i could find only a plain form.Why it is happening?? please replay me...

Did you write the program? If not then the person that wrote it is doings something that no one here would know about without seeing all the code so it is better for you te get help from the other person.

The designer.cs file might have been changed somehow and check to remove the deleted controls from the form and still existing in the designer file or renamed controls are not updated in the designer file..
