format datagridview

I need to format the column in datagrid view in window form the column is added from data table and bind with grid view 's datasource property. how can we show the amount populated from databse in currency format. please help.

i tried this but there is an error. in my case gridview is bind on a button1 click event i think thats why there is problem. is that be problem
