Forum Refresh Problem

Question

I am not if it is just me or everybody else? It seems like on FireFox, I do not see latest forums posts. I still see old posts even I have replied a post. This started couple of days ago. On IE, everything seems to be working fine.

Have you guys noticed this problem or its just me?

Yes Suthish. Somethings have to be tested on Production server only because of traffic. In Websites, somethings may work just fine if you do not have much traffic. Anyway, if you still see this problem, just clear your browser cache.

Waw, i thought it might be a problem in my browsers or internet connection. So actually we are testing changes on production environment?

there was some caching issue, which is fixed now. Please try after clearing the respective browser cache. Thanks for noticing and mentioning.

OK I just talked to Nipun, the Lead on this project and he mentioned, we have been experimenting some Caching options and this might have caused it. He has already fixed the issue I think.

I am using IE 9. In the Latest Questions tab, there are some threads that are old and that have replies. One in particular I know had many replies; the one where I suggested using TrimEnd. All replies are gone except one and in two threads, the only reply is from me. Please believe, I did not do it. (I am joking but I did not do it.) Even though there is at least one reply, some are listed in the Latest Questions tab. So obviously something is messed up. This will be a problem to solve because if the forums are restored to the prior state, then all activity since then will be lost. Also, it has been about 24 hours since I used the forums and I did not notice a problem then. I always use IE 9 for the forums except for when I look at a thread when I receive an email notification of a new reply.

Hi Mahesh, yes, the same problem i am also facing here even in IE too.. i told to praveen also about this. & one thing if i login on forum ..it still show me as Guest login (on Forum Home page) ,on C# Corner Home i can see my login from Monday.

No mahesh it's also happening with me. Yesterday actually I replied to post but it still showing old post. This occuring in firefox and chrome.
