Hi Friends Why we use Fragment Caching in ASP.NET?

The microsoft brought the fragment caching in asp.net web page to cache the portion of the page. In web page there may be a part of page always static and it need not be loaded/rendered from the server again and again. There is an need to cache the static portion of the web page and has to be used for all the sub sequent request. The static content like master header left menu footer menu has to be moved into the web user control. These web user control has to be declared as outputcache statement.

Fragment caching refers to the caching of individual user controls within a Web Form. Each user control can have independent cache durations and implementations of how the caching behavior is to be applied. Fragment caching is useful when you need to cache only a subset of a page. Navigation bars header and footers are good candidates for fragment caching.
