Framework Required

Question

Hello I just make a simple C# program in VS2010 but it not run in my friends computer(XP-SP2) where he has framework 3.5 and I install framework 4.0.30128.1 on his computer but it not work. This frame work name is dotNetFx40_Full_x86.exe & it's size is 35.2 MB. Plz help me. If possible plz put here any other (which will work) redistributable framework's link. Thank you in advance!

Actually I am distribute an old version. Current version is 4.0.30319.01 which support my app. the download link as follows: http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/5/A/95A9616B-7A37-4AF6-BC36-D6EA96C8DAAE/dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe Sorry for my silly mistake!

As Kirtan said try again. Since you are using XP I wonder if you need to restart the machine. You should not. Try again. Here is the link: .NET Framework 4.0 Download

probably its possible that the downloaded file can be corrupted try to download again and try to install framework again.
