Hi, Can anyone suggest a good Freelance Projects website and who was already a member of site.

There is vWorker.com, previosuly called Rent a Coder. They have many projects. I think however that they don't treat coders with enough appreciation. They treat buyers better and don't care enough about sellers (developers). I think there is a need for something more like that. I think they would lose good buyers if they lost good sellers. I know that Mahesh is passionate about helping as many of us as he can. I think this is the area that can help most of us the most.

Hi Jure, We have next to do list is open source proejcts section where we can develop together. We have already started working on it. Should be ready in next couple of months. We are also going to add a new section for Open Source projects where comapnies can post their work and guys can bid for it. I think timeline for these two projects is 3 months or so. Thanks for thinking about it.

http://www.scriptlance.com/ There is one better site (at least from the impression I've got), but I can't find it at the moment. Bit of off-topic: I think it might be great if we (C#Corner) had part of the site for (open-source) projects, where users could join and develop together. Sort of what source-forge is, but I think we have more connected community here. I don't know if it would really work, since a lot of users here are already working professionally on other projects, but I think it should at least be given a though. We could then have some sort of approval when project is finished, so the contributors get some member points or something else in that manner if it gets approved. Or at least a connection to source-forge, so that our users could post their source-forge projects here. I know the website's founders have a clear picture of what this website should and shouldn't be, so take it just as a thought.
