Freelancer work is Crime

Hi All I am working in a small company if i do any freelance work is ok or is it offensive. i am wasting my time in week ends i want to utilize that time

Hi Vasu  It depends on the company policy . When you join a MNC they usually ask you to sign an agreement where one of the clause would be you wont be working for another registered company under a payroll . However if you are doing freelancing it does not violate such a clause . Some company's agreement even prohibits freelancing . It all depends on the clauses stated in the agreement you had signed in when you joined the company . Small companies usually don't put in such hard and fast rules which means you can do free lancing and earn a second income . As long as you keep this to yourself no one is going to question you .
