Not clear from your Q, I guess with they you meant this book I recommended. Back end is SQL Server and no reporting tool described, instead authors covered MVC Razor views.

Hi Suneel, Glad you are interested in a Book. I do see three different books are required to accomplish decent amount of knowledge in each area as you have mentioned (ASP .NET, MVC and SQL Server). However, in today's world not every dev work heavily on SQL Server programming and ASP .NET is taking over traditional ASP .NET Web Forms. Considering that you might be very much interested in MVC, I recommend "Wrox's Pro ASP .NET MVC 5" it's great book and you will grab decent knowledge of SQL Server as well. Hope this helps.
