Future Date

Question

Hi all I hope your all alright. I am trying to get a date after adding a numeric value to the present date. For example I have today's date value in textbox1.text and any numeric value for example  31  in textbox2 what code can I use so that in textbox3.text I have the date value 31 days from today. Thanks for reading my question.

Just one point on Pravin's code. You'll need to convert what's in textbox2 to a double before you can call the AddDays method: enddate = enddate.AddDays( double.Parse( textbox2.Text ) );

Hi Marvinhere is the answer for your quetion.... DateTime enddate; enddate=Convert.TodateTime(textbox1.text); enddate=enddate.AddDays(textbox2.text); textbox3.Text=enddate.ToString(); this will surely work for you..... Thanx Pravin.

And another improvement is to protect your program from bad input. You can use the DateTime.TryParse Method instead of the Convert.ToDateTime Method and then if the string is not valid your program can show an error message instead of crashing. Or you can use try/catch to catch errors.
