i am working on a game ' five in a row'. i need some help as i am facing some problems while placing the balls on the board randomly. any kind of help will be appreciated!!

Just a note about Frogleg's code: use new only once per execution; don't create a new Random object for each random number. Frogleg knows that and just forgot to make it clear. Of course, if you read documentation, then you will know what to do.

To use random Random random = new Random(); int i = random.Next(min,max); where min is lowest and max is highest in your case (0,9)

its a five in a row game..when the user will click "play" a screen will appear having 5 balls of random position and random color in 9x9 board...i have created the board but having some problem to place the balls randomly

Can you give more of an explanation Is it the game where you have a grid, and buttons around the outside of that grid that you pick jewels from ?
