Sir I am a bit unknown about Generic Types in C#. It will be very useful if you give me description of generic type in c#. 1) What is generic Types in C#? 2) why we Use generic Types?

Simply in a layman's view generic will help you to get rid of object casting once handling different types. You can define a single type which can handle all types internally rather than using casting. Below is a sample taken from MSDN // Declare the generic class. public class GenericList { void Add(T input) { } } class TestGenericList { private class ExampleClass { } static void Main() { // Declare a list of type int. GenericList list1 = new GenericList (); // Declare a list of type string. GenericList list2 = new GenericList (); // Declare a list of type ExampleClass. GenericList list3 = new GenericList (); } } Class GenericList should handle different types. Normally you may define object type and then typecast but here during compile time itself you can mention all types without casting like // Declare a list of type int. GenericList list1 = new GenericList (); // Declare a list of type string. GenericList list2 = new GenericList (); // Declare a list of type ExampleClass. GenericList list3 = new GenericList ();
