1)What is Generics. 2)What is collection. 3)Difference b/w both. 4)plz list down real 2-3 examples where u have used Generics and Collection in your project.

Generic: Generics allow you to delay the specification of the data type of programming elements in a class or a method until it is actually used in the program. In other words generics allow you to write a class or method that can work with any data type. Collection: Collections provide a more flexible way to work with groups of objects. Unlike arrays the group of objects you work with can grow and shrink dynamically as the needs of the application change. Difference between generic & collection: Both are different term. Generic is a generalized term for a type where as collection is a group of similar or different kind of objects. Example: A perfect example of where we would need Generics is in dealing with collections of items (integers strings Orders etc.). We can create a generic collection than can handle any Type in a generic and Type-Safe manner. For example we can have a single array class that we can use to store a list of Users or even a list of Products and when we actually use it we will be able to access the items in the collection directly as a list of Users or Products and not as objects (with boxing /unboxing casting).
