Get File Path of a Selected or clicked file on desktop or explorer

Hello All I want to know how to get a file path when user selects a file or clicks a file on desktop or any where in explorer?? For example on right click on every file we get a Add to Archive of winrar similarly i want to get my application as one of menu Please help me..

Okay I probably understand better what this question is. The question is how to make a context menu. I think it is called a Shell Context Menu or something like that. If you search MSDN for shell contextmenu then you will get many results such as Shell Extension Context Menu in C# strange error. You can look at the results of that MSDN search for other articles.

Welcome to C# Corner. There is not an easy way to do what you are asking. Windows is not designed to work like that. Windows executes whatever program that is associated with a file or the program itself when the program is itself executable. So the answer somewhat depends on the type of file.
